THE BIOGRAPHY OF PADRE PIO
Padre Pio of Pietrelcina (1887-1968) was born in Pietrelcina, Italy, on May 25, 1887 and died at the age of 50. Son of Grazio Forgione and Maria Giuseppa de Nunzio, he was baptized the following day as Francisco Forgione. He received the sacrament of Confirmation and First Communion at the age of 12.

Therefore, he was inspired to build a large hospital, which he named " Casa Alívio do Sofrimento ". This magnificent work became a reference throughout Europe. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina gave himself entirely to the ministry of Confession .
